A word of warning – Whilst taking tips from and watching guitar video tuition clips on the internet can be useful for reinforcement and back up of formal tuition. It should not be used as a substitute for proper, qualified, one to one guitar lessons. Bad playing habits are quickly and easily learned, plus difficult and costly to undo in terms of time and money.
Guitar Teaching Method
Students are physically shown the various techniques required to enable them to play the guitar. This information is backed up in written form, using easy to read chord diagrams and tablature. Pupils are taught how to read guitar tablature as part of their course, this is both relatively easy and quick to learn. As pupils progress, they are encouraged to make use of our studio facilities for performance and recording, enabling reinforcement of what they have previously learnt and of course to have some fun making music.
